I am installing an electric start kit in a 25hp tohatsu. as part of the kit, i see an actuator, part num 398-76083-0. Since tohatsu has such horrible service manuals, i am using my friends 25hp electric start outboard as a guide. i came across a silver, metal clip (actuator) and i dont see it on his motor. do you know where it goes and is it a new design?
