2003 9.9 Honda with charging capability. Want to convert to electric start.

There are no conversion kits....at least in the USA. You will need at least a new flywheel, starter with starter solenoid starter switch, neutral safety switch, and battery cable. If you do not want to wire it up in a makeshift fashion, you will also need a new wiring harness and regulator/rectifier.

The parts cost around $1000 or so. I have never done it myself, since most customer's stop after I tell them the cost.

I always tell people that want to try something like this to sell the outboard they have to fund the purchase of the outboard that they want. Ii is the only logical way to accomplish this "conversion" unless you can find a junk donor motor for parts.
