Lehman 225 Turbo - slow start draining batteries.

My Starboard engine always starts like a charm but the Port engine drages down that batteries and is very slow to start. Must always start the starboard one first to have enough battery power to get the port one going. Ford Lehman 225 Turbo.
 
Hi eric,
sounds like weak battery or bad wire connections at starter and battery. Have your battery load tested. You may have air leaking into fuel system when engine is not running. Before starting next time , use the hand primer on the lift pump to pressureize the fuel system. If that works air is leaking in. Also this engine has a cold weather start solenoid on the injection pump which may not work.
