Does anyone know how or where I can buy a extend my shifter on the side of my motor to move it closer to the front of motor or on the tiller handle.
 
You would need to custom-fabricate an extension for the shifter handle, or you could connect a control cable, as is used in the Remote models. The NS25C2 does not have any provision for the shifter on the tiller. Some newer 4-stroke Mercs have that throttle/shift setup on the tiller; Those tend to be unreliable, and Merc has released a conversion kit to restore the shifter to the Tohatsu-style independent shifter.
