08 honda bf25 - cooling indicator port hose

just had my impeller replaced last week. today i was running some sea foam through my engine to clean it up and get it ready for the water again and i noticed my cooling indicator port wasn't peeing. i popped the cowl off and see that the hose inside my cowl has several punctures in it that were patched with silicone (gg previous owner). so now i'm on a mission to get this fixed.

how do i replace this hose? my mechanic made it sound simple last time i talked to him, but i can't find any instructions online.

Take the hose off , it's only secured with a wire spring clip.
go to your local marine shop and get them to cut you a piece of bulk tube.
I went with a clear yellow.
