NOS boat systems

yes it is that easy to add NOS to your engine, and yes, it it that easy to ruin your engine. people don't realize that as you add NOS, you have to retard your timing as you do it. forged pistons are a must ! unless you are a above average mechanic, and understand what "total advance"is, and can make adjustments in carburetion to power tune........just leave the NOS for the movies.......

It seems easy enough to just add NOS to your boat, but I was more concerned that it would cause more engine damage, or that the engine would need to be repaired much earlier than without the Nos. Has anyone else attempted or heard of anyone doing this?

Ayuh,.... Did ya notice yer link is 'bout Drag Boats,...

NOS is usually run a few Seconds, not Minutes...

It's Useless on a boat, unless yer runnin' 10 second(or less, much less) drags...
