1987 Mercury 45Hp Classic Fifty

Hi, I have recently purchased a lovely old 14ft Mirrocraft "tinny" that came with a 45HP Mercury Classic Fifty Outboard.

I would like to get new spark plugs for it, but because I bought it used in Uganda, I am not sure that the existing spark plugs
are indeed the correct ones.

Would anyone be able to assist me with the correct spark plug part numbers as well as the gap size.

any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I recommend Autolite 303 plugs set at .025 inch gap. The "carbies" will need cleaning, and the fuel lines and pump diaphragm replaced.

Thanks for the advice, are there any alternatives if I cant find Autolite plugs? An NGK or Bosch Number perhaps?
