KAD44 EDC diagnostics problem

Hi,

I have a diagnostics problem with a KAD44 EDC :confused:

KAD44 EDC - Diagnostic light flashing.

I am getting faults 2.6 (Open or short circuit in supply to Potentiometer in control) and 3.4 (no position signal from gear shift control actuator or outside range)

I have replaced the potentiometer but no joy so i´m hoping it´s in the wiring but I am getting the 5 volts required up the loom to the potentiometer?

As for the shift actuator I think it will need replacing as the plastic cog inside has stripped its teeth!

Any comments appreciated!
 
Definately need to change the stripped cog. Make sure the cog was not stripped due to other reasons ie; frozen shaft etc. Clear all codes and retest.
