1989 Mercruiser 454 340 HP - Grey Oil

Winterizing my 1987 Welcraft St Tropez with twin Mercruiser 454s. When I extracted the oil from the Starboard engine it was grey. Water in oil! She was running strong when I pulled her from the water and oil presure was normal. I extracted about 4.5 qts vs the Port engine (with normal oil) about 4.3 qts. Looking for troubleshoot steps, short of pulling engine and rebuilding.
 
If the transmission and/or engine oil coolers are original you can get raw water leaking onto the engine or transmission. Pain in the next to remove on a Mercruiser but I woulkd pull them and have them pressure checked before going into major repairs. I just replaced my Crusader U Coolers as preventive maintenance and would do so every 10-12 years.
