positive to negative ground

I have a 1965 West bend 50hp outboard, can it be converted to negative ground. If so what is needed.

Thank's to anyone who can help
 
If this outboard has an electric start, it most likely has a charging system as well.
I believe that the starter motor and charging system would need to have the polarity reversed.

Depending on type, it may or may not affect the ignition.
