D1-30 D2-55 to Europe

Hello. My question might be a little strange and inapropriate for this forum but I thought I would try anyway. Im with a company situated in Europe and we are looking to try and order new Volvo penta engines from the US. The reason is simply price difference. Since I cant find any companys/dealers online who provide such services/exports I would kindly ask if anyone has had any experience with such operation or knows where I could find somehting out. Again, sorry if this is only a technical engine forum and if I broke any rules by asking this.

Alan, USA dealer(s) are only allowed to sell new engines in the USA market. This is how Volvo Penta protects the dealer(s) and corporate pricing structure. You still might be able to find a dealer willing to help you out, but they are risking to lose their franchise if VP finds out? You also lose VP warranty with grey market import engine.

Better to find slightly used engine(s)????
