Found this kicker at a garage sale, but can't confirm exactly what it is.
The cover has a logo of two S's interlocked. I figure standing for Simpson Sears.
It has a number 9 on top.
Pulled off the cover found the information plate.
" 9.2 BHP at 4750 RPM
Serial #, 594861 1022

Now the model number should belong to a West Bend built Elgin in 59, however, online they don't appear to have built a 9.2 hp in 1959. Elsewhere I find the 9.2 was built in 65 but by someone else, maybe Hiawatha?
Anyway suggestions?
Second, the person selling it doesn't know how long it's been since it was run. The paint is off the head bolts so it's been apart at least once. There is no hose, and at some point the fuel line has been converted to a Merc model. The recoil needs over hauling, and I think I would need to open it up and check the impeller. What does something in this kind of shape worth?
