Reducing power from 50 to 25 HP on Suzuki Outboard Engines?

Hi,

I've been looking to find someone who might know if it's at all possible to reduce the power in both of my outboard engines? I own two 50HP Suzuki Outboards, and due to circumstances, I can no longer use both of them together with the combined 100HP power they have. So my question would be; Is it possible to have the power in these engines reduced? Essentially, I need the two of them projecting 25HP each to make a total of 50HP.

My apologies if this is a bizarre question, but I haven't been able to find any information regarding the issue!
I would appreciate any help/information anyone may have, (Or where I might be able to find an expert in this field?!)

Engine info:
Make (of engine): Suzuki
Model (of engine): outboard
Year: 2010
Horsepower: 50 HP

Thank you
~Tim

sure, but do you have a propshaft dyno to measure the power and verify the modification?

just sell what you have and buy what you need

Well, the throttles control the horsepower, so....maybe running at reduced RPM?

Does the boat handle well running on one engine? What is the concern? Fuel consumption? Or some new UK restriction on engine size? You could end up with two smaller engines burning just as much fuel to push the load going with a pair of 25's.
