Honda BF50 WOT only with a little manual choke applied

Thanks Mike-- I am fairly certain that I did seat the choke rod into that plastic groove--- I remember fighting it a bit . I still am unclear as to how that solenoid arm affects operation at WOT,but am thinking it may actually enrichen the mixture slightly at high rpms,possibly for better cooling..... all I know is that I re-threaded a new screw and all is good.... this way halfway through my test-run after a third carb cleaning.which didnt change a thing.Could also just be something else coincidental with the carb adjustment screw fix.... One thing I definately notice now is that the rpm will drop smooth and slowly to idle,rather than a quick drop as before....... -Jim.
