302 Rear main oil seal

I have a 1976 glulfstream with a ford 302, the rear main oil seal is leaking. Dose anyone know if you can remove the main cap and remove the upper seal then install a new seal.

Unless you have a lot of room to easily work under the engine, then it will have to come out.

These things are best installed when the engine is on an engine stand, and can be rotated.
