"Anyone know the trick to bend

"Anyone know the trick to bending or forming the water hoses? I want to replace all the cooling lines on my Fireball 225 when I reassemble it. I can buy the hose by the foot at the local auto parts store but there must be some method of forming it like the original are. I'm guessing there is some type of heat application, filling with sand etc??
Thanks.

"Here's what I do in that

"Here's what I do in that situation, Cal: Take the hoses with you to a NAPA (or other good auto store) and match them up with existing hoses. You'll end up with a hose that will be too long here and there--just cut it to size--but has the right bends you need.

Those pretty, 90 degree bends are molded into the hose, something we can't do at home.

"Good idea. I'm using some

"Good idea. I'm using some of the old hoses and experimenting, filling with silica sand and heating them in water, heat gun etc. Just trying to beat the system ya know. When that fails I'll probably end up doing what you suggested. Have a good Christmas season.
