Just picked up a used Suzuki DT 140. My mechanic had just rigged the motor on my boat two weeks ago.

She runs great. However she is not "peeing" water out of the side of the motor. A new water pump was done last week. The motor does not overheat at all and ive run her about 10 hours this past week. Hasnt peed water since I got the motor.

Am I missing something?
 
You Probably (or hopefully) have a blocked tell tell pipe.

Try disconnecting from inside the cowling and clearing the blockage.

This happened to me and found there was just a build up of salt!
