Just purchased a 1985 Yamaha Enduro 150 Precision Blend and have a few questions.

My first question is on the precision system blend system, is it a reliable system and if so how does the system work or should I mix the oil into the fuel myself?:confused:

The next question is on the cylinder compression, i ran a check and all 6 cylinders are at 100psi even, what range is the compression supposed to be at?

Early systems did have several problems such as yours. The pump drive and driven gears will fail at crank. If equiped with inline check valves they also had issues. System works on simple float/tank volume. Does not tell pressure, or cannot tell quality of contents of tanks. There are a few more, just hitting the high spots. Thanks Martin
