omc king cobra 5.8l efi backfire underload and loss of power Help!!

ok ive done a couple of things check spark new spark plugs and check ignition timing and new fuel filter new fuel rotory button and cap what else could it be?
 
ok tried clean fresh fuel in a gas can but still back fireing and loss of power ran it to make sure all old fuel was out. i took it to a guy he said needs a new fuel injector does anyone know if i can crossrefrance a cars fuel injector for this that has a 351 efi in it?
 
ONE injector of eight? or is yours throttle body?

but you're going to have to go to shop.evinrude.com with your year and model number and look at the parts books.

the "5.8 efi" isn't specific enough- looks like OMC used several different injectors on 5.8 fords (even within a model year) - need the exact engine model and take it to the books
