Hi All
In the cockpit of my boat I have oil pressure, oil temperature, volts and tacho for both TAMD41A engines. On the flybridge I only have tacho.
What I would like to do is fit oil pressure and water temp gauges on the flybridge for both engines. I understand from searching the internet, and volvo part schematics that I would need to change the sender units on both engines for one that can handle dual gauges. But will the wiring already be in place to the flybridge?
Also, I can get hold of cheap 24 volt gauges but will these work with a 12v system and 12v senders? I know the senders are only based on resistance, but the guage obviously needs power to measure that resistance.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
