what size prop? more pitch=less rpm less pitch=more rpm so what does prop diameter do for performance?
ive seen 9 and 9 1/4 dia. props for my boat. would a 9 1/4 x 11 be about the same as a 9 x 10 ?
 
Diammeter is self adjusting to prop pitch
Pitch is in theory how many inches of movement in one revolution 19 pitch 19 inches
Lower pitch prop tend to be bigger in size
Higher pitch lower rpm
You should pitch according to wot specs motor rated for5500 rpm pitch to get 5500 rpm
More surface area on prop better lift of boat and easier getting on plane (4-5blade props) 3 blade usually higher speeds
There is alot of info for props rake, pitch cup,diameter,material,blades ect....
