Just put a new impeller in the lower, and I have no water moving , I remover the lower and put the water hose directly in the water flow tube, and water just comes out the exhaust hole. Can anyone help me? Not sure if this is normal

How much water is comming from the hose???
Are the muffs sealing real good.I sometimes have to use duct tape to seal them.
Is the tube in the top of the water pump when you reassemble?
What condition is the housing(pics)?
Water is supposed to exit first from the exhaust tube/hole.
The motor has a system that when it's working right.
The pump pumps way more water than it can use.
It has a pressure relief system. The hole in the back of the mid section is the release port.
Make sure it's assembled right then tape the muffs.
Slow water from the hose and it might never work.J

I have alot of water coming from hose, and even when I put water right to the mid section tube it all comes out the exhaust tube, the only way I can get it water to come out of the pisser is to block up the exhaust port. If that is normal then it must just be my seal with the muffs

Yeah, I actually found out my pump housing was burnt up, now my problem is truong to advance the idle speed on these twin carbs, the guy o got the boat from had a 105 cover on it do I just assumed it was a 105, turns out its a 140

Go to iboats .com and Force/Chrysler forum 1st post a post by FrankA called a linc and sinc. This should help.
Set the air screws at about 1 turn lightly seated.
Then adjust after the linc and sinc.
Come back after you do this.J
