Merc 25 Shift shaft linkage, need help with part name and part number.

I need to replace the part at the top of the shift shaft that joins the horizonal shift shaft to the long vertical shaft just under the carb area.
A plastic part with 1 screw and rentention pin for lower unit shaft .

Mercury 25 long shaft
Hand tiller w/throttle/shift on tiller
serial # 0A955708
 
You did not give the year so I assume it is old. Contact some of the dealers in Florida who may have a used part.
 
Wow looks im in for a challange this part sure isnt a slam dunk .
Im used to just finding a part number and order ship/fix.

Any help finding this part would be awsome cuz im comming up with blanks.
