michelodeon, Chrysler 45 1979, rectifier and circuit breaker

I bought an 1979 Chrysler 45 691cc outboard and put it on an Ozark Fiesta 20', about same age.
Took off and it got me home although a little excess vibration. Then it died. After several starts and
re-stars, nothing. Not a click, no spin, no sound. Like somebody removed the battery.
In checking I was led to the rectifier, which I have sent for. But I'm wondering about this little box that
says, 'circuit breaker'. Any body know anything about it?

Should be a button on the circut breaker.
Press it and see if the motor turns.

Some boats have a fuse panel under the dash.
Sometimes they use a fuse to safeguard the ignition????
A bad rectifier won't stop it from turning over.
Test light,on the solenoid,yellow/black or yellow red.
Turn key see if it lights??
Neutral safety switch. Will do the same thing.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The answer turned out to be the Neutral Switch. I should have suspected it earlier. It has the same bright yellow wires as the Start connection. I by-passed the switch and she started in 1/2 second.
