PARDON THE WRITING, FOR SOME REASON I CAN'T USE PARAGRAPHS. THE SENTANCE'S ALL RUN TOGETHER !!!Ethanol is messing up a lot .It's delaminating the inside of older hoses causing clogs in the carbs/injectors and fuel filter.
Oh yea DON"T buy any parts from boats . net Worst company on the net.
I thought the same, i'm new to boats, this would happen to be my first, do i'm not to familiar with the outboard, I do know it is pushing water through the impeller though.
Classic symptoms of an old impeller with broken / missing vanes and vanes that have taken a " set " with time. Impellers should be replaced about every 3 years !
Okay thanks, how hard is it to replace the impeller?
Depend on your ability.-------Just a few nuts and bolts is all that is involved.
I am mechanically inclined, and def have all the tools, just curious as to how big the job is?
Not much to it ---------You-tube has all kinds of tutorial videos on the subject.
Okay thanks for the help, more just the trouble of finding one, and a prop as well
