A vessel I'm looking at on line has 1984 FWC Crusaders. The broker tells me that the Crusaders are 454, 350 HP engines. When I look at the pictures of the engines on line, they have model 350 stickers on them. Soooooooo, are these 454's or 350's?
Thanks,

FWIW My 454's had aluminum placards that read 350 on the valve covers. They are 454's with 350 HP and that was due to an engine swap the 270hp 350's were my originals

The Mark-4 Block with 2-piece rear seal, Serial #'s up to 88710, where known as a Model 350. Later the Gen V Block carbureted engines, Serial #'s from 88710 and up, were known as Model 454. Then came the throttle Body Injected Engines, Serial #'s from 92882 and up, called the Model 454XLI.

Hope this helps.
