Gas tank sending units

I just replaced sending unit gasket and used 5200 for the gasket tank leveler. Will it resist gasoline.Thanks for any insite.

it will soften will extended exposure to gasoline. Permatex #1, #2, or #3 would have been a better choice...

Best to read the instructions for anything in a tube before ya use it...especially on a boat's fuel system.

You should take that sender out now while you still can. 5200 will make it a permanent instillation.
