453 water exhaust and tachometer

I have a 453 that I just bought a wet exhaust manifold for, but how does this mount with the governor in the way? I was also wondering about a good tach for it and I just need some suggestions, thanks.

is this engine a marine engine ?? send a picture will help.

Its probably not a marine engine, it's in a paddlewheel boat and I believe it came from a small truck. I'll see if I can take some pics tomorrow.
