composite reeds. anybody used these?

I am rebuilding a 95 merc 40 2 cycle and am replacing the reeds. Found a set of composite reeds that seem to be great. Anybody ever tried these?
 
Used them in my old dirt bike. HAd better low speed power (they open easier), and lasted for 10 years.

Most racers like them since steel reeds destroy their motor if one breaks of at speed. Others swear AT them, saying their longevity is insufficient.

PS: Boyeson's plant is 10 miles from where I live!
 
As long as they aint Boyesen you'll be ok, they only last a couple years if the 2 stage design and if it ever lean sneezes real hard they will split.
