Force 125 problem??

That is interesting......my Seloc manual says when checking or adding fluid, the motor must be in the full up position, minus a small nudge down to relieve pressure. What's the deal people???
 
Wish I would've read that BEFORE I opened it....got sprayed with oil, duh.

About 1/2 cup of oil came out, it still works like new, THANKS AGAIN TO RRITT!!! Makes me wonder.....I've had it in the down position for a few weeks since I filled it, under all that pressure. It does have a BRAND NEW oil seal on the motor shaft, do you think I pushed oil up into the motor? I really don't want to open it again....thats a lot of work.
 
You can remove the electric motor without getting into the hyd.pump.
BUT!!! If it was under that much pressure then you probably didn't get oil up in the motor.
 
If there were NO pressure, then it would be likely that the pressure would have disipated up into the motor housing, taking the oil with it, thusly a leak. In this case, pressure was a good sign.
