Water/Fuel Separator.

Want to get a fuel/water filter.Been looking at the Unikas-UF10.Anyone have any comments about
them?Where should the primer bulb go,between the motor and filter orthe tank and filter?Found some negative comments on other brands.Could'nt find any reviews on the Unikas.

We sell a few different models, including the Unikas. The Unikas unit is mid-priced, yet is a higher-end product. Intended for above-deck installation only, as it is not metal. USCG regs require metal units if installed belowdeck. Nice feature of the Unikas is the clear bowl with the floating ring, so you can see any water/junk without having to disassemble the filter... Plus, it has a drain cock so you can empty any water without having to take the bowl off. Always put any water sep filter as close to the motor as reasonable, as it adds restriction (vacuum) to the system (between it and the fuel pump on the motor). The primer bulb should be near the tank... between the tank and filter.
