need help on motor

i have 1974 25' express in very good shape. I just bought her. I need to know what size motor it is and is is a thermocon.?? here a photos. the motor runs tip top. I just want all the info I can get on motor.

74 express, short of the engine displacement question, what are you engine concerns?

I picked up on a few things that you may want to address since this is a New-to-you boat.

A good engine bay cleaning, and perhaps cleaning up the battery cables and some wiring attention comes to mind.
While there may be no obvious potentials for trouble, you'll be one step ahead of ole Murphy if you do this.

The throttle cable to throttle shaft connection looks odd. Is the cable OK here?

You may also want to inspect hoses and rubber exhaust couplers.
Perhaps pull the exhaust mans/risers and inspect them.

A new sea water pump impeller goes without saying.
