Hi all new boy needing help with engine age

hi all just come across site looks like there is a lot of knowledge on here, and if i may i would like to test it

i have purchased a 50 hp evinrude i was told late 90`s the engine has been painted and i cannot see the numbers on the bracket the only number i have found is one on what i would call a core plug numbers as follows

G3042984

all help appriecated

reason for needing to know is i need a starter motor for it
 
The model # is needed to get the year , not any other numbers will do !!-----------The starter motor is common to many years.----------------If the cover on the motor is original then post a picture , many folks can tell the year at a glance..-------Post a few pictures of the motor.
