Mariner 90 hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke - no identification plate !!!!

I hope you are able to assist. I have just bought a boat with a Mariner 90hp 2 stroke (3 cylinder). The seller had no information on the motor whatsoever.
I cannot find a serial number plate anywhere, I have looked on the transom as well.
The numbers I have found are:-
On the block – 42885-C2
On the side engine plate – 832753A6 1567
On the starter 50-66015 (also a date stamp of 07/15/1997)
Bottom rhs of engine 993352
854515 1347 on what looks like the solenoid block.
And also:-
MA-90-ELPTO
7090412GB
Are you able to identify the motor from these please?
 
Someplace on the block.There is a silver freeze plug.It has the #s stammped in it.
Will be something like 0G234567
If the starter says 97 then it's a good bet the motor is too.50-66015 is the part#
The transom should have a # stammped on it.It's usually on the right rear.That's the year of the boat
Mine is something like this 2233FLG1A888 making it an 88 That doesn't mean your motor is the same year as your boat.J
 
Thanks for your quick reply. The stamp in the disc is numbers only 9979868 and then a fancy roman M underneath. I can send a photo if this helps.
