Nissan 5hp power problem

I have Nissan 5 hp two stroke with a power problem. It suddenly stopped running at full rpm when it is under load. The best it will do is about 50 percent. I have cleaned the carburetor, the fuel tank, filter and checked the fuel lines and fuel pump. I replaced the spark plug as well but no improvement. Any suggestions about what to try next?
