Hi, I have purchased a boat with a Gardner6lxb. At 1100rpm and 6 knots the temp reads 65c. At 1200rpm =7knots and 72c. At 1350rpm =7.5 Knt and 80c at which time the overheat buzzer sounds. The book says 65c but mentions no range or safe maximum.The last thing I wish to do is damage the donk but would like to use the entire rev range when required. Any guidance will be gratefully received. Cheers.
