Hello all, new user here,
I recently installed a Leece Neville (Motorolla) alternator on my Universal M25XP which mounted up fine. I wired the alternator as described and also checked the wiring schematic to be certain. My issue is the alternator is working but is pegging my ampmeter (-60 - 60) The tachometer which also feeds off the alternator is only showing 1500 rpm even at higher throttle.
The B+ is connected properly the tap and field are where they should be so I'm a little puzzled. Any help or suggestions wher to look next would be appreciated.
