I just picked up a used 15HP and would like to identify the year mfg'd etc., appreciate any help

S/N 351A-1-83809

The 15B2 was made from the mid 80's to the early 90's. Year is not important for servicing (the model/serial is everything). Be advised that the carbs for that motor are NLA. Only a few bits for the carb are still available. WP lits are still in stock.
 
I need the same kind of help with a Tohatsu m120a engine... is there anyway to tell the difference between the m140a and the m120a besides the identification plate? Any help will be appreciated!
 
The upper carb is setup differently. To convert the 120 upper carb to the 140 setup, you can bend the throttle arm so it is not limited.
