tilt an trim problems

i have a 1999 m50d2, the tilt trim was getting to where it wouldn't come up, it goes down fine, i followed the owners manual for putting in new fluid, but cant seem to get it to work, can anyone help thanks
 
Does the pump run when tilting up? If not, check the solenoids and the switch that operates them.
If it does run, purge air from the system and refill, then repeat until all air is out and system is full. Can take several days to do that.
 
the manual says to lift the motor up an down 5 to 6 times in the the manual position, i've been doing that, but i guess i havent done it enough, so like you said it could take days i will try some more, oh yea, the solenoids are working, thanks for your help,
