I have a 17.5 foot alumacraft that has a classic 1984 50 merc tiller, and would like to buy a 2004 90 Merc. off a boat that has a steering column. The owner wants to sell the motor only for $2000. I have power tilt/trim on my boat but no steering wheel. Will the 90 Merc fit on my current tilt/trim, and can I get a tiller for the 90? The seller doesn't want to sell the steering and the speed control. Can I use the tiller off of my classic 50? or do I also need to buy the steering column and the speed control
