15 hp merc 1990 stator question

I need someone to test the resistance readings from their stator wires so I know if I need to purchase a new stator.
The manual I'm using is for serial numbers 0A197112 - 0D280999
Mine is 0D009790
The manual lists these readings as:
Black/White to engine ground = 120-180 ohms
Black/Yellow to engine ground = 3200-3800 ohms
Black/Yellow to Black/White = 3100-3700

Here's what I get:
B/W to grn = 138 ohms
B/Y to grn = 1180 ohms
B/Y to B/W = 1040 ohms.

Obvious difference, but I just want to make sure.

My Solution:
I went on craigslist and asked someone who was selling this same engine to test their stator for me. A guy in Oveido, FL tested his and it showed me that I needed a new stator.
I installed my new stator and everything works great.
I barely have to pull my starting cord and she fires right up.
