prop cavitation

heres the scenario, 17 ft invader volvo 4cyl 270 outdrive. prop was a little beat up so i sent it and had it repaired by a prop shop in l.a. looks like a really good shop. they do 20ft diam props to small boats. last week out with it for the first time it was flawless smooth as could be . this week i have a severe cavitation problem. first time it happened i was running at almost wot. slowed the boat down and idled it. started to go and almost on a plane and it did it again. now soon as you open the throttle to plane it spins. not coming in or out of gear. i had it cavitate once when it had some weeds on it and it is just like that minus the weeds. no obstruction, clean hull. the boat has worked fine for the last 6 months till this weekend..any suggestions,, thanks kc

That's what I am hearing. Spun hub. I didn't even know that could happen. Prob justbuy a new one. What should have done last time.

Not sure Volvo props can be re-hubbed.
If you buy a new prop get Volvo.They work much better than the aftermarket.J
