Susuki Tilt/Trim Problem 2001 50hp

Motor has been stored for a couple of years and checking it out to use and the tilt/trim works fine going up, but will not go down. I can hear the "click" on the motor, but nothing happens. The pump runs, just will not direct the flow of oil to the down position. The motor control and the throttle both work for "up", but not for the down position. Moved wires around, check all the plugs and still nothing. Any ideas????

<br>I have been checking things out and have come to that conclusion that one of the solenoids is bad. I disconnected the pump and ran the wires directly to pos. and neg. and the pump worked fine --- reversed the wires and the pump ran the other direction and again ran fine. Solenoids/relays "click" when the trim button is pushed, but one of them is not making internal contact. Picking up a solenoid/relay tomorrow and will see if it works out. Thanks for the help.
