I have a 1996 175 Johnson Oceanrunner. When I turn the ignition key, it goes through all the alarm routine, but before I try to start it, it returns back to check engine light. If there was a fuel restriction, wouldn't it just come on after I try to start it? Do you think the vacuum sensor could be going out? When I run it, sometimes the alarm comes on, but I keep going it continues going the same speed and it will finally go off and remain off.
