brand new 225 making strange noise

I have a brand new Yahmaha 225 o.b. and it makes a fairly loud rumbling kind of sound at very low rpm's when making way.When you give her slightly more throttle,the noise is gone.Other than that she seems to run great at all other speeds but when you back her all the way down again,the noise is there but no performance issues.What is this?
 
Not wishing to state the obvious here, if it's brand new, take it to the dealer under warranty. I wouldn't attempt any repairs myself as you will void the warranty.
