When idling a notable ticking sound is coming from my port engine, as I put a load on the engines the soung increases proportionally as you push up the throttles. Any ideals to what may be the problem.
Thanks, Bob

can you isolate the sound? if you dont have mechanics stethascope you can use a long screwdriver pressed against your ear. check around the valve covers, could be a lifter, but good to know which one.
Yup - I'd say something has come loose in the valve train, too, as most likely event.
