Got all 12 bolts out, 6 top, 6 bottom. I can lift the head about an 1/2 inch, and it stops. I've tried and tried to get it off. It feels like there is something toward the rear (inside) of the engine that is doing this. The water pump pipe I'm pretty sure is not mechanically attached to the actual powerhead. I know the splined shaft isn't because I've dropped that before when I serviced the lower case. What is the deal? Manual says it should just pull off.
