70 HP Chrysler propeller question

Hello have great running 1970 707ha motor, prop fell off and finally found one.

Question is, is there a thrust spacer on these? Prop I bought seems to be on correctly when I just slide it on, and turns nicely without a spacer. I am in the dark since everything fell off. If it needs a thrust spacer can I make my own with a washer? Can't seem to find parts anywhere.

Pics? They ALL have/need thrust hubs.Yours might be on there already. Some older Chryslers had the hub as part of the prop.
A regular washer isin't strong enough. There might be an inside taper where the hub sets.
Pics of the hub side and the prop shaft will help.J

Of course
F.Y.I. when I slide the prop on the splines are flush with each other on the outside.
Cant find the end cone but am thinking a well fastened bolt with washer probably do the trick no?
Thanks

Thinking about that prop.
The brass thing on the end is the spacer. It should have a pin in there that keeps the prop from going forward.
You send FrankA a note?

Hey, thanks for feedback.
You are right the pin is what hold in place. I didn't have a cone that fit now, but used locking nut, locking washer, and washers to compensate. seems like it will work out.
Thanks for your help
