force 150 wont start

battery good I just put in a new solenoid because I thought it was bad because when I meter it i have 13 volts comming in but when i try to started it I only get 10 volts to the starter

Once it gets to the starter it's gonna knock it down.
What's it doing that your working on it?Other than not starting.J

Year and serial#s help too.J
 
I was not working on it.I went out crabbing one day it ran good got home I ran it with frash water too clean it the salt water
it ran good. Next day I went to go crabbing it would not start. But if i try to start it and use a pull rope it will start and run good. Where do I find serial #s yr 1991

The serial#s should be on the transom assy.port side??
Try jumping the solenoid.A screwdriver across the posts.
If that won't turn it over.Then the starter is probably bad.
They sell parts here on this site.
