I have a 1998 Force outboard motor that on occasions will shut down when pulling someone on a tube. This seems to happen around 2,000 RPM’s my mechanic can’t seem to find the problem. He had it on the dino for hours and can’t make the problem. I go out and it happens, seems like more and more. The motor will restart but will have problem getting above 2,000 RPM and then will run great the rest of the day.
I've had the cards rebuilt, replaced all the fuel line, tried a different fuel tank, and now have a electronic fuel pump, nothing seems to help
